How to use this
- Attach a blank tape to your sight rail — a strip of masking tape runs the full length of the slider's travel.
- At each distance (20, 30, 40 yards, etc.), dial the slider until the pin is on target and make a fine mark on the tape. Label the distance next to it.
- Remove the tape from the sight. Using a caliper, measure the distance from your zero mark to each of the other marks you made. Record each of those distances in inches — zero is 0.000, and every other mark is how far it sits from zero.
- Enter each distance and its measurement in the table below, set your tape width, and click Generate.
- Print, cut, and attach the finished tape to the sight rail.
All measurements in inches from your zero mark. A caliper gives the accuracy you need — a ruler will work but small errors compound at distance.
